Fast State Artificial Colonic Fluid (FaSAC)
Artificial colonic fluid (sterile) is a solution that simulates the components of the colonic fluid and simulates human-fast state of colonic fluid with pH 7.6. The fast-state artificial colonic fluid is mainly composed of physiological components (bile salt and lipids), Tris, Maleic acid, minerals such as sodium, and chloride. phosphate, etc. This reagent is sterilized by 0.2 μm filtration.
It is used to study drug interactions and modified-release study of drug products intended for colonic delivery dissolve in fast-state colonic fluids.
